We are really looking forward to meeting our new Year 7 parents at the Tutor event this week. All appointments will be held in The Core block with parking available outside the building, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your allotted time. To aide with social distancing we are also asking parents to wait in their cars or outside The Core until a member of staff invites you in for your Tutor appointment. Parents and students are more than welcome to wear a mask or face covering if they would prefer to do so.
We look forward to welcoming you to Southam College.
After school clubs will restart week commencing Monday 5th October, with sessions being offered on the following dates:
Monday – Y7 Football & Netball
Sessions will run from 15.40 – 16.30, so students can take advantage of the Late Bus provision.
Students who have PE on the same day as their allocated extra curricular club are to attend in PE kit as normal. Students who do not have PE timetabled on the day of their club, should attend school in their full UNIFORM and bring PE kit to change into after school.
FOOTBALLERS please meet in the SPORTS HALL and NETBALLERS please meet in the GYM.
All students in school on time for the next 10 school days will be entered in to a prize draw to win a Samsung galaxy tablet.
*If your child is absent at any point during the 10 day attendance challenge for a COVID 19 related absence, they will still be eligible to be entered in to the prize draw.
Tomorrow (Thursday 24th September) all Year 7 students will have their school photograph taken by the School Photography Company. Therefore, students should attend school in full school uniform, and do not require their PE kits.
