Southam V Campion

On Monday the Year 9 netball squad had their first game of the season at home to Campion.

The first half started strong. The defensive end consisting of Lily, Matilda and Isla worked well as a team, making lots of interceptions and putting pressure on the feeds going into to circle. This continued into centre court where Louise and Olivia put some lovely balls into our shooters Charlotte and Neve. The score after the first half ended 10-4 to Southam. The great play continued in the second half with Eva coming on as GD forcing the opposition to make errors. Phoebe came on and worked with the attack and defensive to as a team only allow Campion 1 goal in the second half. The final score ended 20-5 to Southam.

Well done team you should be really proud of yourselves. It was nice as a coach to see the work we do in training being used in the game!
